P&TS is a Swiss firm specialized in intellectual property and the protection of inventions. Presentation of the speakers

Maria Maina holds a master’s degree in electronic engineering from the University of Pavia. After experience first in R&D at a multinational telecommunications company and after as a technical writer, she moved to Switzerland and joined P&TS in 2009. She qualified as European, Swiss, and Italian Patent Attorney. She is also active in patent litigation and is recognized by IP Stars and IAM Patent 1000. She provides IP training at different levels and is an Innosuisse IP special coach.

Kamran Houshang Pour is a patent expert and senior IP trainer at   in Bern. After completing a PhD in physics at EPFL, he gained experience in industry as a product manager at Nortel Networks in Zurich. He also co-founded a consulting company supporting young start-ups and later returned to academia and research after a Master’s in statistics. Since 2008, he has specialized in patent searches, patent examination, and IP training for universities and companies.
